The developers of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 have released the official system requirements for the PC version, revealing a clear focus. The minimum requirements are indeed quite moderate.
After the release of Battlefield 6, the next AAA shooter with a military setting will be launched on November 13, 2025 with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, with the preload starting on November 10, 2025 on all platforms. In keeping with this, the developers have now also announced the system requirements for the PC and handheld systems, which show that the focus is on the mobile devices.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 “runs on almost all Windows-based handhelds”
There is good news for those PC users whose system is located at the lower end of the performance spectrum. As a minimum, 8 GiB of RAM and 3 GiB of VRAM are required, in addition to a Radeon RX 470, a Geforce GTX 970 or 1060 and, alternatively, an Intel Arc A580. As a CPU, the developers recommend a Ryzen 5 1400 or an Intel Core i5-6600. In addition, the shooter still supports Windows 10 with the current update, but Windows 11 is better.
The recommended hardware is 12 GiB RAM and 8 GiB VRAM, a Radeon RX 6600 XT, a Geforce RTX 3060 or an Intel Arc B580 as well as a Ryzen 5 1600X or a Core i7-6700K. For 4K Ultra settings, PC users should have 16 GiB of RAM and a Radeon RX 9070 XT, a Geforce RTX 4080 or an RTX 5070. Incidentally, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 requires a total of 116 GB of storage space on an SSD at launch.

PC handhelds are also listed in the system requirements, whereby the shooter should run on most Windows handhelds without problems. The graphics of Black Ops 7 have been adapted for the correspondingly smaller handheld screen, so that playing on devices such as the ROG Ally X should be possible without any problems.
